DIY Fake Plant ~ CRAFTING IT ALONG

Plants are great decor but keeping real plants may sometimes be a difficult task so why not DIY it.

This plant could be made of any colour and it is a good way to recycle plastic as this plant is made out of plastic.

SUPPLIES:

1.Plastic Bottle

2.Scissor and Cutter

3.Stirrer

4.Glue

5.Colours

6.Transparent Jar

7.Stones (optional)

METHOD:

1.Take a plastic bottle I choose green because I wanted the plant to be green but you can choose any colour as you are the creator of this plant. Cut the top part of the bottle and then start cutting the bottom of the bottle into stripes representing the plant's long leaves.

2.Now take a stirrer to make the stem of the plant and mark a line as per the lenght of the jar indicating that the leaves should be present till that point. If the stirrer is too long you can also cut as per the length of the jar.

3.Take a hot glue as it is easy to glue plastic together and start sticking the leaves starting from top to bottom.

4.Mix together glue and white acrylic colour to make the mixture and pour it into the jar. Let the glue set and this may take a couple of days depending on the glue. Add some stones inside the jar, I used white stones but this is optional.
