DIY Donut Pillow- No Sew

DONUTS!DONUTS!DONUTS!DONUTS!
I just can't get over donuts.
DIY DONUT PILLOW

SUPPLIES:

1.Fabric
2.Compass
3.Scissors
4.Fabric Glue/ Hot Glue Gun
5.Pillow stuffing/ Cotton
6.Fabric Paints

METHOD:

1.Lay the fabric on a flat surface and fold it into two parts.

2.Use a compass to make a perfect circle.
Two circles needs to be made, one outside and the other inside for the donut hole.

3.Cut it carefully leaving some extra space on the outside and cut the inner circle leaving no extra space.

4.Keep the wrong side up and glue the outer sides of two fabrics together using a fabric glue or a hot glue gun, I used fabric glue here.
Remember not to glue the inner circle now.
Leave it to dry before moving to the next step.

5.Now that you have left some extra space on the outside, cut small strips till the outline of the pencil so that it holds the shape of the circle and ends became more smooth.

6.Turn the fabric inside out and adjust all the folds.

7.Put in the stuffing through the inside circles and adjust all the stuffing well.

8.Once you are satisfied with the way the pillow looks now it's time to seal the pillow.
For this take a piece of same fabric around 2 inches and  attach it to both the inner circles as shown bellow.
I used hot glue gun here as it sticks fast.

8.It's icing time!
Take a fabric and draw the outline of the icing on top of it with a pencil, make sure to take the size of the donut first.
Cut it out when you are satisfied with the design also cut a line through one side so the it it easy to stick it to the pillow.

9.This is an optional step. In this step use a hot glue gun and create small dots with it so that it looks like chocolate chips.

10.Colour the fabric to desired colour. I painted it to the colour pink which is like the typical colour of donuts. I also added some darker tones to the outline to make it look real.

To add the sprinkles use a small brush or a stick as I did here. Don't forget to colour the hot glue gun chocolate chips to  brown.
Later stick it to the donut with glue

DONE!
