DIY Display Shelve+décor tips

This is one of my favourite DIYs since I could display my other DIYs on them. This Display Shelves are so inexpensive to make as compared to the shelves available in the market. I also added my other DIYs on them to display them. This gives a pop of colour to the plain white wall.

SUPPLIES:

1.Wooden board
2.Paint
3.Brackets
4.Colourful tape

METHOD:

1.Paint the the wooden board to the colour of your choice. I painted it white and it took me a couple of coats to cover the wooden board fully. Let it dry fully.

2.While the paint is drying fix the brackets to the wall.

3.I also attached a ribbon to the brackets.
Use clips to attach photos to the ribbon.
Also stick tape to the sides of the wooden board.

4.To decorate the first shelve place some books on top of it.

I added the DIY Girl Boss Mug over the top and also some fake flowers and leaves into it.

5.Now to the second shelve. This one is above the switch board.

6.First I kept the DIY Fake Plant on top of it.

Then I added hand making the peace sign.

Later I added the DIY Secret Painting.

DÉCOR TIP:

1.Keep it simple.
2.Do not clutter by keeping lots of things.
3.Play with the levels of the things like for example if one thing on the shelve is small keep the other large.
4.You can also opt for a theme - white theme (keeping everything white), wooden theme (things on the shelve may only consist of wooden items) and more like that. Since the background which the wall of my shelve is white I opted to use bright colours.
5.Plants make the shelve look lively so you can either keep fake plants or a real ones.
