DIY Birthday Decoration

So I turned 19 this Saturday and I had a blast on my birthday, I wanted to make a party décor or a prop for photo booth so I though of making this big numbers. They are perfect to take photos and also fun to make. If you want to know how to make this then just keep on reading.

SUPPLIES:

1.Mount board
2.Pencil
3.Scissors
4.Tissue paper roll/ Crepe paper
5.Sticky Tape
6.Glue

METHOD:

1.Write the number on the mount board and then cut it out. This took me quite a few tries to have the desired shape. Since I'm 19 I wrote the number 19.

2.Take tissue paper and cut it to desired size and fan fold it. Stick tape in the middle, rolling the tape all around the tissue and it will look like the picture bellow.

3.Open the folds of the tissue so that it looks fluffy and full. Use glue to stick the tissue to the numbers. I used white coloured tissue and red coloured crepe paper to make a repeating pattern. But you can customised it the you want. The method with the crepe paper is also same as the tissue paper.

Done! Enjoy taking photos with these.

  1. This DIY Birthday Decoration is truly looking very pretty. I am looking for spacious venues in Los Angeles for my party. Planning to book one of venues from Eventup.com as getting good discounts over there.
